Supporting our parish

Our church is here for everyone – for worship, prayer, friendship, support and those important moments in life.

Keeping the church open and looking after our buildings, paying the bills and supporting the work of our parish all costs money. Like most churches, we rely on the generosity of the people who worship with us, as well as those who simply want to support what we do.

There is no expectation and no pressure.

If you are new to the parish, please don’t feel that you need to give anything.

Your presence is more than enough.

If you would like to donate

Thank you. Every gift, large or small, makes a difference.

You can make a one-off donation or, if you are a regular member of our parish, consider giving regularly. There are several ways to give, so please choose whichever

is easiest for you.

You can donate online direct from your bank account to ours:

sort code 20-56-90 account number 50002518

name: Diocese of Middlesbrough

bank: Barclays Bank PLC, Unit 1 Centre Mall, The Mall, Middlesbrough

Or you can download this standing order form and send it with your details to your bank.

There is a separate building fund to service the hefty debt on our church building. Donations can be made using this standing order form (building fund).

You can increase the value of your gift by using gift aid, as explained in this gift aid form.

To contact our parish finance officer for a gift aid form, Email: coastal.cluster@rcdmidd.org.uk

Our parish is part of the DIOCESE OF MIDDLESBROUGH (CHARITY NUMBER 233748)

You can also give by using the card machine near the entrance of the church, or during Mass, or speak to someone at the church if you’d like to know more about other ways of giving.

Where does your money go?

Your generosity helps us to:

• Keep our church and parish buildings open, safe and welcoming

• Pay for heating, lighting, insurance and every day running costs

• Support our worship and parish activities

• Provide space for groups and activities within our community

• Help us support people who may need a little extra help

• Maintain and care for the church for future generations

We are grateful for whatever you are able to give.

There is no expectation and no pressure.

If you are new to the parish, please don’t feel that you need to give anything.

Your presence is more than enough.

Thank you for helping us to keep this a welcoming place for everyone.
